Conditions
Advertising in the GLEANER appears as a service to the membership of the Atlantic Union Conference. Advertising in the GLEANER is a privilege, not a right.

Classified and display ads appearing in the Atlantic Union GLEANER are printed without endorsement or recommendation of the Atlantic Union Conference. The Atlantic Union GLEANER makes every reasonable effort to screen all advertisements, but in no case can the periodical assume responsibility for advertisements appearing in its columns or for typographical or categorical errors.

All advertisements from Seventh-day Adventists inside or outside the Atlantic Union Conference must have the signature approval of the pastor of the local church in which the advertising member holds membership and by the communication director in the conference in which the advertiser holds membership.

The Atlantic Union GLEANER reserves the right to refuse any advertisement. The rejection of any advertisement should not be construed to constitute disapproval of the product or service involved.

Announcements
Announcements of alumni weekends, church events, etc., will be printed where space permits at no cost for the first insertion. Additional insertions will be printed and charged at the same rate as a classified ad.

Classified Advertisements

• Classified Advertising originating within the Atlantic Union
  • $35.00 for the first 40 words, $0.50 for each additional word (80 word maximum).
  • Hyphenated words (not normally hyphenated) and words separated with a slash count separately.
• Classified Advertising originating outside the Atlantic Union
  • $40.00 for the first 40 words, $0.50 for each additional word (80 word maximum).
  • Hyphenated words (not normally hyphenated) and words separated with a slash count separately.
• How to Submit Classified Advertisements
  • Classified ads must be submitted by the deadline dates listed.
  • Payment in full must accompany all ads. Early notification that an ad is being submitted may be submitted via e-mail, fax, on disk, or typewritten with the understanding that payment will be received by the deadline.

Inserts
Requests for placing inserts in the Atlantic Union GLEANER should be made at least eight weeks before the date of issue. Content design of all inserts must be submitted for approval. Only one insert per magazine issue will be allowed on a first-come first-serve basis. Contact the editor for more information at (978) 368.8333.

Obituaries are placed in the Atlantic Union Gleaner free of charge in the order they are received as space allows. These records may be used by people who are doing genealogy research. The information must be as complete and accurate as possible. Be particularly careful to include the women's full names, including the maiden name (if possible), so that researchers can trace both sides of their family tree.
