Northeastern Conference Constituency Session Report
The Northeastern Conference held its 25th regular constituency session (second quadrennial session) on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Camp Victory Lake in Hyde Park, New York. The meeting convened at approximately 9:30 a.m. and adjourned at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Monday, June 9, with all items on the agenda completed.
Delegates at the session voted to return the three administrators to serve for the next quadrennial:

The delegates voted several changes to the conference's Constitution and Bylaws. However, changes of note are the following:
1. Beginning with the next quadrennial session the Organizing Committee will meet at least fourteen (14) days prior to the constituency meeting and will elect a Nominating Committee.
2. The Nominating Committee will meet seven days (7) prior to the constituency meeting.
3. In the breakdown of the Nominating Committe (which consists of at least ninteen (19) and not more than thirty-one (31) members in addition to the president of the Union or his designee serving as chairperson), each of the designated areas (there are 12) and language groups in the conference will be allotted at least one representative on the committee and one additional representative based on membership percentage.
Let us keep the Northeastern Conference administration, the departmental team, and committees in prayer as they move forward to complete the work of the Lord in their field.
