Atlantic Union Gleaner Receives Associated Church Press Award
The Associated Church Press (ACP) held its annual convention May 6-8 in Arlington, Virginia. At the May 8 awards banquet the ACP presented many Christian press awards. Among the winners was Ednor A.P. Davison, Atlantic Union Gleaner editor, who received an honorable mention in the "Convention or Meeting Coverage: Magazine" category for the article entitled "Atlantic Union Pastors and Teachers: Together in His Calling." The article appeared in the September 2009 Gleaner and featured the Atlantic Union Conference's first-ever pastors and teachers convention.
The Associated Church Press, founded in 1916, "is a professional organization brought together by a common commitment to excellence in journalism as a means to describe, reflect, and support the life of faith and the Christian community" (theacp.org).
