Atlantic Union Colleges Board Endorses Move to Affiliation Agreement with
Loma Linda University

South Lancaster, Massachusetts— The Atlantic Union College Board of Trustees voted unanimously to endorse the action taken by the Loma Linda University Board of Trustees on December 10, 2008. Loma Linda University trustees voted that its administration draft an affiliation agreement which would allow the two institutions to move forward. This would also allow for the possibility of an eventual merger in the future if approved by both boards. Both boards will be in consultation with Atlantic Union College's regional accrediting body, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
